The FASTEST growing Brotherhood in DFW
Project: Brothers of Valor
Plus the amazing people behind what we do
At Project: Brothers of Valor, we believe that when men are equipped with strong values, leadership skills and spiritual resilience, they can transform not only their own lives, but also their families, communities, and generations to come. Our mission is to support men in developing strong values, leadership skills, and mental and spiritual well-being.
We understand the struggles men face in today’s world: isolation, lack of direction, and the pressure to succeed without support. That is why Brothers of Valor exists; to revive a culture of brotherhood, accountability and valor.
What We Do
Monthly Workshops — Each month, we host workshops focused on personal development, leadership, and mental and spiritual well-being. These gatherings provide practical tools, mentorship, and a safe space for men to learn, share, and grow together.
Events & Annual Retreats — Once a year, we step away from the busyness of everyday life for our Brothers of Valor Retreat. These retreats are designed to deepen connections, challenge men to rise into leadership, and provide rest and renewal through faith-centered teaching and brotherhood.
Community & Outreach — Beyond events, Brothers of Valor is a growing community. Through ongoing mentorship, outreach programs, and peer support, we encourage men to lead lives of service and integrity while walking alongside one another as brothers.
We envision a generation of men who rise as leaders of valor; anchored in faith, strengthened in character, and united in purpose. At Brothers of Valor, no man stands alone. Together we are building a brotherhood that will last for generations.
Our Vision
Meet Your Mentors
Cole Brychka
President & Chairman of the Board | Minister | U.S. Army Veteran
Cole Brychka is one of the founders and driving forces behind Project: Brothers of Valor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting men in developing strong values, leadership skills, and mental and spiritual well-being. His vision is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when men are equipped to lead with integrity, courage, and purpose, they can transform not only their own lives but also their families, communities, and future generations.
Cole started Brothers of Valor out of passion for building a genuine community of brothers, a space where men could come together to encourage, challenge, and sharpen one another. Having seen firsthand the struggles many men face with isolation, lack of direction, and the pressures of modern life, Cole recognized the urgent need for a movement that revives the principles of valor, resilience, and servant leadership.
With a background in leadership, mentoring, military, and community service, Cole brings both experience and empathy to his work. His journey has shaped a deep conviction that true strength is not measured by status or success but by character, faith, and the willingness to serve others.
Under his leadership, Brothers of Valor has launched programs and initiatives focused on mentorship, personal development, and spiritual growth. These efforts are designed to guide men in building strong foundations; values that anchor them, leadership skills that empower them, and practices that nurture their mental and spiritual health. Through annual retreats, monthly workshops, outreach efforts, and one-on-one mentorship, the organization seeks to create lasting impact on the lives of men from all walks of life.
What makes Cole’s approach unique is his emphasis on community. Brothers of Valor is not just an organization; it is a brotherhood. Members are encouraged to walk alongside one another, holding each other accountable and celebrating victories together. Cole believes that shared strength is what allows men to rise above challenges and live lives of courage and conviction.
Outside of his nonprofit work, Cole enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, outdoor adventures such as camping, hiking, boating and more. He also enjoys writing, carpentry, studying faith and keeping up to date with current politics. These interests fuel his perspective that life should be lived with balance, purpose and gratitude.
Looking ahead, Cole envisions Brothers of Valor expanding its reach to impact men nationwide, creating chapters in communities across the country, and raising up a generation of men who embody discipline, service, and valor. He remains committed to the mission of equipping men to lead with courage, grounded in faith, and united in brotherhood.
Jeff Hackney
Treasurer & Vice Chair of the Board | Mentor | U.S. Navy Veteran
Jeff is one of the co-founders and masterminds behind Project: Brothers of Valor. First and for-most Jeff believes in all men! We all hold the keys to the future. He believes we are our Brothers Keeper and we need to hold each other accountable. We also need to help each other and promote our fellow men. This is a core belief of Jeff’s. Over the last 50+ years of his life, he has seen and dealt with the affects of Alcoholism, Drug addiction, Porn addiction, Work addiction (workalohic) and over the last couple of decades just an addiction to numbing out (our phones - social media). Jeff strongly believes this is not good for our society.
Jeff believes as men we have a duty to our fellow Brothers to help them, guide them, cry with them if needed. This is why he wants to serve and do this work! Jeff has felt a calling and has found other men that have this same calling. Jeff may not have all the answers, but he will fight like hell to help all his fellow Brothers! For far to long Jeff has felt he has watched from the side lines and feels it is time to step up and do something positive!
Jeff comes from a family that was broken at an early age. He watched his mother work her ass off to give us as much as she could. He learned from her how to be a better MAN. He learned from her how to be there for his children. He learned from her how to follow through with his commitments. But, his mom should not have taught him these things. It should have been a MAN, that showed him the way. Unfortunately, she did not have the best taste in men. Which showed Jeff that men can hurt each other, women and children.
Between Jeff’s military experience and the last 30+ years of being an automotive mechanic. He has had a lot of time with his fellow men and Brothers. Jeff has seen how we don’t support each other, how we can hurt one another, and how we tear each other down. He would love to be a voice of change for that, as he has seen too many Brothers choose the wrong path of Suicide.
This again is why we need to come together more so now than ever before. Jeff says all these things to show you he is just a normal man. He has done tremendous healing over his years and he will do his very best to help other men in these same, tough, situations. Jeff can go on for hours about all the wrong shit he did in his life and the people he has hurt, but this is supposed to be an introduction, not an autobiography. Jeff tells you all this because he wants you to know he is just a MAN. Jeff has fucked up in his life and he has come back from the edge. He will not judge anyone for any situation.
We all have our own stories to tell, and Jeff wants to be there to hear yours! He also wants to be the one to hear your successes, your failures, your come back stories. We all will face tough situations, but Jeff knows that with the right Brothers in your corner, life is much better and easier. Please, I beg you come and join the Brotherhood. Jeff doesn’t want to read another obituary, he loves you all and wants to see you succeed.
